Your Privacy is important to us, this privacy policy is in place to protect you. The information held about you, may be requested at anytime.


Here at Sunflower Meadow your personal details that will be collected and kept on your file will include:

Email

Medical Information


All of the above information is provided to us by you the client, either by telephone conversation, email, or from your face to face consultation, and will only be used as contact details to arrange your appointments and to provide you with a tailored personalised treatment.


Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

  1. For your therapy to go ahead

  2. For your consent



Once your details are all collected and your consent has been signed, all information on you will be stored in a locked filing cabinet.



You may then choose at anytime which method you would like to be contacted by using either, post, email, phone, or text, and can choose to opt in or out of any of these, at anytime.


We would rely on you as the client to make that choice of opting in or out, of any contact method, by contacting the clinic.


The information provided by the client will be used when offering contact and treatments to the client.


Information provided will not be shared to any other individuals without prior consent


We will hold all client information for 7 years to comply with recommended practice. After which your information will be disposed of securely.



Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we will respond to your request within 28 days.
